"HOP - Fractals in Motion" is a DOS/Windows shareware fractal generator +
screensaver based on Martin (Hopalong) and Gumowski/Mira attractors.
Actually, Hopalongs and Miras aren't fractals in the strict mathematical
sense but plots of orbits of two-dimensional dynamic systems and could
maybe referred to as orbit fractals. HOP draws abstract images and
real-time animations, based on these "strange attractor" formulas, enhanced
by mathematical and graphical special effects. |
Michael Peters, born 1954 in Germany, lives in Cologne as a freelance
web/database programmer. Michael is also an active musician, specializing
in electronic guitar and ambient loops.
